SBI Credit Card Helpline
SBI Credit Cards had been introduced for convenient transactions by the customers. This has now got a greater exposure and a larger number of people are aware of the services rendered by a credit card. But there is still not enough knowledge of various helpline services provided by the SBI.Bank By Phone Service
Credit card Bank-by-phone service is available for those customers those who face difficulties in making transactions through their credit cards. Executives of the bank are available from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm to render a helping hand. They could be contacted by the following numbers:
From BSNL/MTNL lines

From other phones : 39020202
(If call is made from a mobile phone, then prefix the city STD code)
There is also an Interactive Voice Recording (IVR) facility and Emergency service round the clock along the same helpline.
Instant Information Service
Instant information service is provided through the IVR which could be availed from any place or time. Using this service one could block the lost card, or activate the card, check the transactions made, request for duplicate statement, ATM pin request, change the pin or even check the application status before the credit card is received.
After dialing the helpline number, one should follow the instructions of the IVR for requested service to be rendered. To utilize this service all that has to be known is the 16 digit credit card number.
Alternate Services for query resolution of SBI cards
If one is not satisfied with the above mentioned services or if the need is not fulfilled then there are some alternate services put forth by SBI.
A written application could be sent to the Manager, Customer services to the following address:
SBI cards and payment services Pvt. Ltd., DLF Infinity Towers, Tower C, DLF Cyber City, Gurgaon.
The complaint could also be E –mailed with the SBI account number and your contact number to feedback.gesbi@ge.com.
A response would be send within 14 days from the day of contact. To check the level of customer satisfaction, a special employee is appointed by the RBI called the ‘Ombudsman’. This scheme known as the “Banking Ombudsman Scheme” could be used if a customer is not satisfied even after contacting the customer services manager. Thus SBI is taking all possible measures to help its customers on all their needs and values customer satisfaction the most.

though I have received sbi credit card (VISA) I have not received PIN which was assured to be sent in 10 days after despatch of credit card
pl let me know can i use my credit card when i am travelling in far east for shopping or cash withdrawal
For the last 5 odd years all the credit card issuing banks, have made it a practice to issue International Credit Cards. You can read up the initial leaflets sent along with the card, which also would have stated its usability for shopping purposes overseas. I have used for shopping purposes about 7 years ago when I traveled overseas a few times. However I suggest, you check up with your Card Issuer about its usability in Far East Regions, as also for withdrawal of cash in that area.
I am having SBI Master Credt card for the last 7 years baring No.5264 6853 2416 1510. In a letter dated 3/6/10 from Manager Customer Service (Mr.Amit Kalra). From that I am addrssing feedbackgesbi@ge.com and headgesbi@ge.com but no proper reply was given to me. On 19/7/10 I have received a new master card bearing No.
5264 6853 2915 0096. Will you inform me that which card I have to be used out of these two Master (Silver card). Unnecessary communications had will you creates more mental torture and problem. I dont want the automoted reply. No furter repy is being received except the auto generated one. How to proceed and which card I have to utilise may be informed directly to me clearly. Dear Sir, Your representative at mall approached me and requested for filling up the form for credit card. Further, all required documents were collected by your personnel from my office and residence. Repeated verification interviews took place on phone and finally I was informed that the card would be sent to my residence soon. Almost two months passed but I have not received any card neither any reply.
I am really shocked experiencing this kind of behavior from a reputed nationalized award winning bank like SBI.
Will you please take pain to let me know with reason, why I could not receive the credit card as promised. Thanks.

i have told that on payment through sbi credit card for any air ticket , you will get 20% discount. i have booked my tickets by my new sbi visa card. but i can not get any discount
When they promoting SBI Credit card they will give some offers.(promotional offers) Those offers valid for limited time…You can not avail the offers in you full life time of your SBI credit card…

I am not yet clear about IVR.Am i to get the IVR after each transaction/and mention the same in case of any purchase through visa card.Is this IVR is only for mobile transaction.
